Since I was 14, I intensively learned to sail a Jolle and participated in regattas. I dreamed of sailing around the world on a sailing yacht, but at first that didn’t happen. Then I was drawn to windsurfing — I did windsurfing like crazy.
Twenty years later, out of nowhere, I had the opportunity to cross the Atlantic from Italy to the Caribbean Sea and back on a sailing yacht, including a mast break in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. My childhood dream of sailing the oceans came true in all its epic form.
That’s why I create marine art: because I am a sailor ⚓️
