I also have a Japanese family, as my wife is Japanese. I love Japanese culture—the food, the handcraft, the simplicity with enormous precise functionality—and some of the most respectful and humble people on earth. I also learned to play the shakuhachi, the Japanese monk flute. This instrument gave me a previously unknown experience of what music is.
