Since I was 14, I have intensively learned to sail a Jolle and participated in regattas. I dreamed of sailing around the world, but at first that didn’t happen. Then I was drawn to windsurfing — I did windsurfing like crazy. But 20 years later, out of nowhere, I had the opportunity to cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean Sea and back on a sailing boat. My childhood dream of sailing the oceans came true. That’s why I create marine art: because I am a sailor.
